Aged Care Crisis

ACC is an independent group who are deeply concerned
at the provision of aged care in Australia, specifically the delivery
of quality care for our elderly and frail citizens, including those
who are residents of aged care facilities.

 

Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency

The Agency is the body appointed by the Department of Health
and Ageing as the accreditation body under the Aged Care Act 1997.

 

Centrelink

Centrelink is an Australian Government statutory agency,
delivering a range of Commonwealth services to
the Australian community.

 

Council on the Ageing (COTA)

COTA is an Australia’s seniors’ organisation,
with members in all States and Territories.

 

Department of Ageing and Disability

Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is part of the
Department of Human Services NSW (www.humanservices.nsw.gov.au).
They provide support and services to more than 1 million older people,
people with disabilities and their carers in NSW.

 

Department of Health and Ageing

Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing –
encompasses all federal aged and health care services in Australia.

 

Elder Law at UWS (University of Western Sydney)

Elder Law at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) conducts
research that is sensitive to the needs and interests of older people
in our community. UWS also publish the Elder Law Review,
Australia’s only journal dedicated to elder law.
